Nigerian emerges most outstanding student in Chinese university


Mr. Peter Eze, a Nigerian scholar for his masters degree programme at the University of International Business and Economics (UIBE) Beijing, China recently emerged the most outstanding student of his class at graduation.

Eze is a product of the prestigious University of Nigeria, Nsukka where he graduated in Second Class Upper grade in Economics. He proceeded to China for a masters fellowship in 2017, after his youth service with The Sun Newspaper in Abuja.

He got award of the most outstanding student of the university recently at his graduation ceremony which held on June 25. After his youth service, he had worked as an aide to Senator Orji Uzor Kalu.

He studied in China under the Chinese government scholarship as one of the thousands of such African fellows in Chinese universities.

As at last school year, there were over 6,500 Nigerian students in Chinese universities and over 50,000 from all African countries and most of them on the Chinese government fellowship to Africa as part of the Forum on China Africa Cooperation, FOCAC objectives established since year 2000

Eze studied international economics and public administration and at his finishing line got himself and the nation outstanding honour and accolade.

His UIBE alma mater was established in 1951 and among China’s top universities in international studies related courses and economics, management, law, literature and science. ��9.
