At least seven people, including three university students, were kidnapped along an expressway in central-north Nigeria, a police source told Xinhua on Wednesday.
The incident took place at about 40 kilometers away from Kaduna State capital on the Abuja-Kaduna highway on Tuesday evening, the source said, adding no lives was lost during the incident.
“There were seven persons kidnapped including three ABU (Ahmadu Bello University) students. There was no loss of lives. We are trailing the kidnappers,” the police source told Xinhua.
The police was yet to comment on the incidence as of the time of filing this report as there was no response to a call put on to them.
