The World Health Organization called a meeting of its emergency committee Thursday to consider issuing a global alarm after coronavirus cases in China surpassed the number of infections there during the SARS epidemic. While the coronavirus continues to spread globally, the case of an asymptomatic boy diagnosed with the virus has raised concern that it may spread undetected.
