Cracks in APC presidential campaign as Osinbajo, Amaechi, Lawan stay off

Facts have started emerging that the APC Presidential campaign team might not be operating on soft grounds or inclusive.
News reports from reliable sources indicate that since the presidential ticket was won and lost, some key contestants, including the Vice president, Yemi Osinbajo, former Minister of Transportation, Chibuike Amaechi and the Senate President have never been in the know of the campaign plans of Bola Tinubu, the candidate.
Our sources say that while Tinubu and his core team sidelined these key party leaders, he preferred to work with APC governors, especially those from northern states who advised him to choose a northern Muslim running mate.
Facts indicate that while Lawan may be amenable, Osinbajo and Amaechi seem to be no-go area as they have no plans to support the Muslim Muslim ticket.
In the campaign plans of the APC, Tinubu has never contacted these persons and none of them ever knew what goes on.

It’s also feared that they have irreconcilable differences with Tinubu.
Just few weeks after Tinubu picked Kashim Shettima as his running mate, a Muslim from Borno State, Amaechi’s core loyalist, Tonye Cole resigned his membership of the party, citing the exclusion of Christians as reason.
It is was public knowledge that Amaechi in 2014 opposed the pairing of Muhammadu Buhari with another Muslim, which was likely, Tinubu himself. Now, there is no slightest chance he can buy into that.

Early last week, a coalition of Northern Christians led by former Speaker of the House of Representatives, Yakubu Dogara and the former Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Babachir Lawal addressed the media to announce that they will not vote for or support Tinubu due to the same reasons.
On personal grounds, Osinbajo has also been at variance with Tinubu over the ticket before the choice Tinubu made of a running mate that roils the party.
