The certified true copy of an order of a US court indicting the presidential candidate of the APC, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu has emerged.
The certified document that has been recently released was dated August 10, 2022, and a consolidation of an earlier matter decided by the US Circuit Court, Northern District of Illinois, Eastern Division in 1993.
The document with seals and stamps of authentication is boldly marked 93c.4483 and emanated initially on July 28, 1993 as a decision of the court.
Page 1 of the document indicated that: “This is a forfeiture action under 21 USC. 881 and 18, USC 981. This court has jurisdiction over this action pursuant to 28 USC, 1345, and 1355.
“The defendants’ funds are located in the above-described accounts and were seized pursuant to process issued by this court.”
The parties in the matter were the US government, while the defendants were funds in three different bank accounts.
The first was in Account 263226700 held by First Heritage Bank in the name of Bola Tinubu.
The second was “funds in accounts 39483134, 39483396, 4650279566, 00400220, 39936404, 39936383 held by CitiBank, N.A in the name of Bola Tinubu or Compass Finance and Investment Co.
The third was “funds in accounts 52050-89451952, 52050-89451952, 52050-89451953 held by CitiBank International in the name of Bola Tinubu.”
Kevin Moss swore to an attached affidavit, and one of the three paragraphs stated that: “As is stated more specifically below, there is probable cause to believe that funds in certain bank accounts controlled by Bola Tinubu, were involved in financial transactions in violation of 18 USC, 1956 and 1957 and represent proceeds of drug trafficking, therefore, these funds are forfeitable to the United States of America.”

The indicting decision of the court was evidence of culpability against the involved person and owner of the listed accounts, Tinubu in this matter of drug trafficking.
However, the spokesman of Tinubu presidential campaign, Festus Keyamo said the claims of culpability that are well stated in the valid document are not true. He said critics and commentators who said Tinubu was culpable in the drug trafficking scandal went off the rail.
He spoke in a Channels TV programme Wednesday night in reaction to the trending incriminating document that got revived through the issuance of the August 2022 certified true copy as proof that the allegation of his involvement in drug trafficking is substantial.
