Secretary of APC in Ehaje Ward 1 Ogbadibo Local Government of Benue State, Mr. Sunday Innocent has confessed that he was lured into Government House Makurdi with a promise of fake palliatives, only to be held hostage to sign the removal of the state chairman, Mr. Austin Agada.

According to Innocent, five government appointees – Hon Ugwu Odoh, Commissioner for Water resources Sanitation and Climate Change, Linda Agada, SSA on Beautification,
Isaiah Abah, Apochi Edwin, and Sunny Joshua Ocheme were his hostage takers.

He said he was only asked to sign attendance register and not a suspension letter against comrade Augustine Agada, the APC chairman Benue State.
This was revealed in a recent video released by the secretary, Innocent.
He said they were given N400,000 each with a promise of a motorcycle in addition, but nobody told them the document was to suspend their son, Comrade Agada.

He said he is ready to defend his claim in any court and he cannot betray his brother, whom he said has done so much for the Owukpa people since he became chairman of APC.
