The China-Nigeria Friendship Model School Igbesa in Ogun State recently held its annual inter-house sports competition.
The event afforded the children of the school an opportunity to show their sports talents in various forms.

The primary school built by the Ogun Guangdong Free Trade Zone (OGFTZ), a conglomerate of Chinese manufacturing companies in the Igbesa community has been a specimen for a model school in the area with its quality study environment and teachers.
The children of the school, over 1,460 are divided into seven Houses that competed against each other.

The houses include:
- Oba Akinde House Orange colour (1st position )
- Onigboko House Pink Colour (6th Position )
- Guangdong House Yellow colour (2nd Position )
- Engr. Taobest House Green Colour (3rd Position )
- Odan-ali House White Colour (5th Position)
- Adeoye House Purple Colour (4th Position )
- WAKDAT House Blue Colour (7th) The event attracted the presence of dignitaries including the monarch of Igbesa town, the Managing Director of OGFTZ, and many others. The competition ended with Oba Akinde House which adorned orange sportswear emerging as the winner. However, beyond winning, all the children had the opportunity to display their sporting prowess and also engaged in other extracurricular activities.
