The importation of refined petroleum is the largest corruption circle in Nigeria.
Dangote Refinery when in operation will cut it down.
Now you know why NNPC scandalize the refinery’s efforts.
When Dangote Refinery is in business, the government criminal cabal in fuel importation will be out of business.
Are you still in surprise why attacks are coming from all fronts lately?
From experience, we don’t expect Dangote’s presence to bring down pump price due to his own reputation, but definitely NNPC will import less quantity, and they can’t stand and watch that happen.
When they sensed what was about to become of their cabal or corruption, they cut down their announced 20% shareholding of USD1.5b to 7.2% or USD468m, and kept lying to Nigerians.
When Dangote exposed their refusal to pay the balance and divulged that NNPC shareholding is 7.2% last week was when they came fully for him with the latest destruction of his efforts.
How would you believe NNPC that the private refinery is not licenced when the Petroleum Ministry that handles that is under the manipulation of NNPC Towers?
Or, how did NNPC invest in a refinery it knows was not licensed?
On another note, the accusation is that the products are substandard. Who regulates quality control in that industry, why not accuse such office?
Why did Mele Kyari attend the commissioning of Dangote Refinery on May 23 last year when his Company knew it was 45% completed and not yet ripe for production?
You can ask many more questions and still can’t find any answer because the only answer is a corruption cabal fighting to edge out an intruder that Dangote Refinery has become.
