The umbrella body of Major Markets in Lagos State, Ndigboamaka Progressive Markets Association, has resolved to collaborate with the South East Business and Investment Summit (SEBIS) Group in the organization of the South East Business and Investment Summit and in it’s determined plan to remake South East as Economic Powerhouse.
This agreement was reached when a delegation of SEBIS met with the Executive Committee of Ndigboamaka Progressive Markets Association, in their office in Lagos.
This development was made known through a statement availed us by the SEBIS chief executive, Dr. Ifedi Okwenna
The two groups agreed to the establishment of a special purpose vehicle (SPV) involving all partnering organizations, to anchor and promote the project and to stimulate the Small and Medium Enterprises (SME’s) development in South East Nigeria.
President of Ndigboamaka Progressive Markets Association, an association of 58 affiliate Market unions in Lagos, Hon. Comrade Chinedu Ukatu, thanked SEBIS for initiating the Remaking of South East as Economic Powerhouse project, and for considering them for partnership.
He promised SEBIS team led by Okwenna, that all 58 affiliated unions, shall actively participate at the upcoming South East Business and Investment Summit holding in Enugu from 11-13th December, 2024.
