Super Falcons edge past rivals, South Africa to qualify for the final of the 2024 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) on Tuesday evening.

Nigeria took the lead in the 45th minute after captain, Rashidat Ajibade converted a penalty for the nine time champions.

Banyana Banyana equalized to make it 1-1 in the 60th minute after Linda Motlhalo also scored a spot kick.

Michelle Alozie then got a second goal in added time to end the intriguing encounter 2-1 in favour of Nigeria.
